Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 NKJV
Welcome everyone! And welcome the new month of June 2020👏
We give praise and glory to God the giver of life, our Healer, our Comforter, our restorer, our strong tower and refuge at all times and especially as we transition out of Covid-19 pandemic! Glory to God!
A brand new month is here with even greater opportunities to live out what God has purposed for us.
Yesterday, the Church celebrated ‘Pentecost’ Sunday. Praise God His Spirit is in us!
Like some of you, I have been seeking God, praying, watching, listening… and witnessing what God is doing in the lives of His Christian leaders and in governments both locally and nationwide. In my own corner, I’ve been actively promoting peace in my family, friends and others in obedience to what God’s call and purpose is for me. During the lockdown time, I see my seeds of prayers that need watering. I see some positive movements and for some seeds, God seems to withhold the rain on my seeds… But I keep going, praying over them and doing what I’m supposed to do to make this happen. Not that God is not willing to answer my prayers, His timing is not ours. He wakes me up in the early hours of the morning to lift up my prayers, some I pray willingly, some I’m reluctant and need faith…so with tears of intercession I trust Him that His grace is sufficient for me when I’m weak He is strong.
I see the mightiness of God in some of his children thriving and functioning in their giftings and calling in God. I see our God shifting environments, displacing and replacing… as we pray at a new level where, as individuals, we can understand our place to pray and “to call call those things that do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17). We are being emboldened by His Spirit in us to use the authority we have in Christ, to encourage, comfort, heal as we pray shine His light in the darkness through prayers and intercession. (“Arise shine” -Isaiah 60). Breakthroughs are happening, let’s admit it, God is in it all. No man will ever be able to do what God does! He has given each one of us our seasons in life…
Heavenly Father, thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives! Help us to learn and understand more about it so we can be fruitful and more effective in our lives as we serve you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
God bless and be encouraged!
